Bodywork & Somatic Support
Bodywork and somatic healing can be an effective way to support wellbeing, particularly when stressed, experiencing physical or emotional pain, and when navigating life transitions.
Bodywork and somatic healing may be experienced on its own, or offered as a supportive complement to holistic counselling, helping to regulate the nervous system, encourage physical release, and support a sense of balance and ease.
Sessions are approached with care, consent, and respect for your individual experience.
How Can Somatic Therapies Help You?
Bodywork and somatic support may be helpful if you are experiencing:
-
Ongoing stress, overwhelm, or fatigue
-
Physical tension, pain or discomfort
-
Difficulty relaxing or switching off
-
Emotional strain that feels held in the body
-
Times of change, transition, or hormonal shifts
The focus is always on supporting your body’s natural capacity for regulation and rest, rather than forcing change.
Somatic Therapies Offered
Bowen Therapy
A gentle, hands-on therapy that works with the nervous system and musculoskeletal system to support pain relief, relaxation, mobility, and recovery.
Bowen therapy is offered with a hormone-aware lens and may be supportive during times of hormonal transition or imbalance.

Reiki
Reiki is a deeply calming therapy that channels healing energy through the body’s chakra points (energy centres) to encourage balance and well-being. Intuitive messages may sometimes arise during a session. Benefits may include deep relaxation, clearing energy or physical blockages and gaining insight into decision making.
Integrating Bodywork and Counselling
For some people, bodywork can support emotional processing by helping the nervous system settle and the body feel more at ease. For others, it offers a way to rest and reconnect with the body alongside or separate from counselling.
There is no requirement to combine approaches — we can move at your pace and explore what feels right for you.
Choosing What’s Right for You
