Top Spas Bristol

My top 5 spas around Bristol

Being a spa queen, I naturally get asked where can you go to get a good jacuzzi and sauna, especially in the colder months, so here are my fav spas in Bristol.

Happy spa lady Bristol

This is me when I go to the spa, happy, excited and like, get me in there asap excitement.

1. LivingWell Centre – free to some MoveGB customers, £7.90 with the app, Hussle & membership options monthly.

Pros/cons – the changing room is often full of kids due to lessons, but only in the day. It has a nice jacuzzi, but it can sometimes be out of action, so call to check it is open before you go. It has a sauna, steam room and pool. The car park is free for 2 hours, any longer and need to get a ticket from the machine. Also the England rugby club were once training in there!

2. Aztec West Hotel & spa add on fee for MoveGB customers, £15 day pass with the app, Hussle & pricey monthly membership options.

Pros/cons – a lovely place and its not usually that busy, it has a plush jacuzzi (although it can smell of chlorine) lovely steam room, pool and sauna. It has nice chaise longue so you can lye out, with an outdoor area too. No kids lessons so its peaceful (no offense to small beings).

3. Bristol Harbour Hotel – free to Classpass members, £25 for a day pass with Hussle & monthly membership options.

Pros/cons – it’s always a bit hot in there in general, but it’s in a cool underground old bank vaults building, not for those that have claustophobia. It has a jazcuzzi, sauna and steam room.

4. Bath spa, I know, it’s not in Bristol but it’s so lovely and a fun day out on the train. 2 hour visit is £36 Monday-Friday, £40 Saturday-Sunday and this is plenty of time for this spa queen.

Pros/cons – it is always brilliant, with a roof top bubbly pool, minerva whirpool, steam rooms and sauna. I am not overally keen on the ice room though. The best bet is to get there early, then float out for lunch and drink loads of water, it makes you thristy all this spa-ing.

Not been but offering jacuzzi and steam rooms:

I heard Nuffield Health is nice and they do day passes for £9.80 too from Hussle

I have never been to the Lido (shocking I know) – its membership only, unless you know someone who has one, then you can go for £20.

Cadbury House Hotel and Spa I heard is also supposed to be nice.

If you want to know more about the benefits of steam rooms on your muscles see here.

I am now starting to explore all the delightful spas in Wales so details on that coming soon.
